Our front garden and our Memorial Garden are always open to the public for peaceful contemplation. The front garden is used for the occasional Parish BBQ while the Memorial Garden offers a final resting place for the cremated ashes of the departed. A beautifully inscribed book, kept in the church, records all who have been interred here. Both gardens are lovingly maintained by our Gardening Group, which meets at 10 a.m. on the second Tuesday of the month. They are always looking for volunteers to assist, if you are interested.
“...You are closer to God in a garden, than anywhere else on earth.”
Would you like to be closer to God? Come and join our Garden Group,
which meets on the second Tuesday morning of each month
at 10 a.m. to tidy our beautiful gardens and work together to make our Church grounds the envy of Albert Park.
Tea, coffee and morning tea included, over a lively chat with like-minded folk.
Interested? Please see Jim Mitchell, or just turn up.
Small bronze plaques may be installed on the wall in the memorial garden to remember the departed, should bereaved family wish to further commemorate a loved one's life.
