We understand how hard it may be to come through the door of a church for the first time.
To help you feel at home, here are a few frequently asked questions about our worship:

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Wear whatever you like. Most of the congregation dresses quite casually.
HOW DO I FOLLOW THE SERVICE?
You’ll be provided with a service booklet at entry by one of our welcomers. This has everything you need to follow along with the Service.
If you like to read music while singing, you can use one of the red hymn books available.
Rev. Sophie will also give directions as the Service proceeds.
WHERE SHOULD I SIT?
Please sit wherever you like in the pews.

CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
Everyone is welcome at every Service. Children can explore our kids' space at the back of the church, which has soft toys, books, puzzles, colouring activities and more. During Communion, children may come up to the altar rail for a blessing or Communion, depending on your practice and wishes.
HOW LONG DOES THE SERVICE LAST?
Most Services last just under an hour and you can leave at any time. After the 9.30am Sunday Service, you can also stay and enjoy tea or coffee with some refreshments.
OFFERTORY
There is a bowl at the entrance of the church for your offerings. In summer we will return to the pre-Covid practice of during worship, offertory (or collection) bags being passed around. This is an opportunity to donate to the Parish and its welfare programs like Sunday Suppers. You may give as much as you wish, but there is no pressure to contribute.
CAN I TAKE COMMUNION?
Everyone is welcome at this altar. If you are unsure, you can come to the altar rail for a blessing (simply keep your hands down rather than raising them to receive the bread and wine), or remain in your seat if you prefer. If you are disabled and cannot come to the altar rail, Communion can be brought to you. Please let a welcomer know this on arrival.
Gluten free wafer bread is available.
TOILETS
On the ground floor opposite the lift door, there is a disabled access toilet with baby changing facilities. However, please take any soiled nappies home with you as we have no means of disposal.
